Stretch kraft paper (commonly known as "stretchable paper" or "high stretchable kraft paper") is a type of
kraft paper processed by a special technique, featuring excellent tensile properties and crack resistance
Advantages:
>> High stretchability
Through mechanical extensibility treatment (such as the "micro-wrinkling" process), the paper has higher
extensibility in both the longitudinal and transverse directions (the elongation rate can reach 5%-15%,
while that of ordinary kraft paper is only 1%-3%). It can withstand greater impact forces without easily breaking,
making it suitable for high-speed packaging or dynamic load scenarios.
>> Strong and durable
It retains the high tensile strength and tear resistance of kraft paper, while further enhancing its puncture
resistance due to the improvement of tensile properties. It is usually quantified between 40 and 120g/m²,
taking into account both flexibility and thickness.
>> Environmental friendliness
The raw materials are mostly unbleached sulfate wood pulp, which is recyclable and degradable, in line
with the trend of green packaging.
>> Printability and processability
The surface smoothness is moderate, suitable for printing, coating or embossing. It is easy for post-processing
such as die-cutting and bag-making
